Our History

Alfred K. Quinn A.M.E. Church was established in Moreno Valley, California in 1989, under the guidance of Rev. Charles Langston, Bishop Vinton Anderson and Presiding Elder E.P. Williams.  This newly formed congregation was officially admitted into the Southern California Conference in 1990.  Under the anointed leadership of several pastors assigned to the congregation in the Methodist tradition the church has become a solid institution of Christian worship, community service, and fellowship in Southern California.  For three decades, the Bible based church has engaged in spreading the gospel, feeding the hungry, promoting wellness and supporting the needy.  Our recently appointed Pastor Martin Porter brings a new vision for this congregation which will bring ever greater opportunities for spiritual, physical, and mental growth to all families residing in Moreno Valley and surrounding communities.  We cordially invite you to become a part of our purpose.
